Summer 7

Squally showers, Force 4-5 winds and big swells were the Observatory’s predictions, and that’s what the sailors got. Race 7 of the Summer Series 2025 even saw the Y flag raised, meaning everyone had to wear lifejackets!

At 1030 on Sunday, the 24^th of August, the gun fired for IRC, and six boats sped off for Tai Tam in a 14-knot easterly. Five minutes later, seven PHS boats gave chase, doing the ‘S’ version of Course 41.

First home was ABC entry, Intrigue, followed barely two minutes later by another ABC boat, Redeye. Generations and Water Rabbit brought up the rear. After finishing, boats made their way to the club’s Middle Island clubhouse for a rousing day & series prize-giving ceremony.
